Desktop Ink Jet Canvas

All Fredrix Desktop Inkjet Canvas is made especially for your desktop printer. Some desktop printers will deliver better quality than others, but Fredrix® Desktop Inkjet Canvas is recommended for use on HP®, Epson®, Lexmark®, Canon® and other printers. The canvas is a fine woven blend of polyflax and cotton, and is specially coated with an acid free acrylic titanium gesso to provide long term archival quality just like Fredrix® Artist Canvas. A clear topcoat is applied for greater ink adhesion and to deliver better, more color intense reproduction.
All of the retail pack products below feature the same Fredrix canvas. The only difference is the size of the canvas sheets.

Fredrix® 575 Inkjet canvas (Polyflax® /Cotton)

A light-weight canvas with a more pronounced texture and medium tooth for a fine art appearance at a great value. 16 mil (406 microns) thickness and 10oz/yd2 (339 GSM) weight.

 

Fredrix® 123 Inkjet canvas (100% Cotton)

A heavy 12 oz. cotton duck with substantial tooth and texture for mural, fine art appearance. 31 mil (787 microns) thickness and 19 oz/yd2 (664 GSM) weight.

 

Fredrix® 901WR Water Resistant Inkjet canvas (Polyflax®/Cotton)

 

Superior Water Resistant Inkjet Coating creates excellent printing results with both pigment- and dye-based inks. The matte finish is ideal for fine art reproductions with a soft look, yet allows for bright, brilliant colors. 18mil (457 microns) thickness and 11oz./yd.2 (373 GSM) weight.

 

Fredrix® 575WR Water Resistant Inkjet canvas (Polyflax®/Cotton)

A thinner and more economical inkjet canvas with our Superior Water Resistant Inkjet Coating that enables excellent printing results.  The matte finish is ideal for Photographic & Fine Art Reproductions with a soft look, yet it allows for bright, brilliant colors.  Furthermore, our Water Resistant Inkjet Coatings are compatible with most water-based protective coatings and most acrylic paints, including our Fredrix Acrylic Texturing Gel, can be applied directly to the printed image!  17mil (432 microns) thickness and 9.5oz./yd.… (322 gsm) weight.

 

Fredrix® 580 Giclée Canvas

(for printing on Iris® or other drum printers) A finely woven 100% cotton Canvas specially-coated to compliment the Iris technology, and deliver some of the highest resolution and most colorful reproductions on the market. 18 mil (457 microns) thickness and 11oz/yd2 (373 GSM) weight.

(Grand Format Inkjet - Solvent or UV-curable)

Fine quality canvases compatible with Idanit®, Scitex®, VUTEk®, NUR®, Salsa®, SignTech®, Gretag® and other solvent or UV-curable machines. CFO= coating facing out. All other materials rolled with coating facing in.

 

Fredrix® Serigraphic Canvas

(for screen printing) A fine, quality Canvas for serigraph reproduction made of Fredrix Ultrasmooth Polyflax cotton or medium texture 901 Polyflax/Cotton. Excellent lay flat and stable for multiple impressions. 16 mil (406 microns) thickness and 11oz/yd2(388 GSM) weight.

 

Fredrix® Transfer Canvas

(for Electrostatic and Traditional Canvas Transfer Processes) we offer 4 different styles of canvas. Each is top-coated with a Heat-Activated Glue Coating, to make the transfer process as easy as possible.

 

Fredrix® Litho Canvas

(for printing on 4/6-color off-set presses) A fine, quality Polyflax/cotton Canvas faced-coated for lithographic printing inks, and back coated to reduce lint buildup on printing blankets and to provide better print yield. 17 mil thickness/320 GSM (grams per square meter) weight. Other sizes quoted upon request.
